Do you have what it takes to be an attorney?
Are you interested in competing for a $100 cash prize?
If you answered yes, you should consider participating in the Crimson Combat Advocacy Tournament. Crimson Combat is an undergraduate mock trial competition for non-members of the UA Mock Trial Association. Participating students compete in teams of two with one student “attorney” and one student “witness.” Students argue short, simple, easy to understand cases presided over by current Mock Trial Association members.
No mock trial experience? No problem! The tournament is specifically designed for those who have not competed in collegiate mock trial. Additionally, there are help sessions every night from Monday, April 8th through Thursday, April 11th from 7-9pm in Ten Hoor Hall 346. These help sessions will teach you everything you need to know to compete, and each session covers the same material, so you need only attend one.
Want to sign up, or simply have questions about the tournament? Email email@example.com!
Below is a link to materials that will help you prepare for the tournament, including our introductory presentation, a breakdown of the laws you’ll be interacting with, and a sample case just like those that will be used at the tournament.
